Remembered by Her Family

At the center of Deena’s life was her family. She was a devoted wife to Greg Shyluk and a loving mother to her two children, Addison and Emilie. Her children were a deeply cherished part of her life, and those who knew the family understand the enormous loss they are now facing.

The ordinary moments that once seemed routine—family conversations, celebrations, laughter, and time spent together—now carry an entirely different meaning.

A Life of Service and Compassion

Deena’s career in education allowed her to make a difference in the lives of students and families throughout Saskatoon. As a vice-principal, she carried responsibilities that extended well beyond the classroom. Her life may have ended far too soon, but the relationships she built and the lives she touched will ensure that her memory continues.
